Skydiving in New England, we are always monitoring weather conditions as skydiving is a weather-dependent sport, and weather can be unpredictable. If the clouds are too low, if it is raining, or if it is very windy, you may not be able to jump that particular day. Please call us at (978) 544-5321 before you drive out if you have questions about the weather and how it will affect your jump. AFF classes will run on schedule regardless of the weather. Please do not assume if the weather is bad where you are that the conditions are the same here in Orange, MA. We often have a very different weather pattern than Boston, for example.

For skydiving in New England, be sure to dress in weather-appropriate clothing. During warmer months, shorts and t-shirts are fine. On colder days, jeans or sweats are fine, and layering is highly recommended. We suggest you do not wear nylon shorts or pants since the harness will slip around on the material and chafe your skin. Please wear a pair of sturdy sneakers, such as running shoes. No boots or heels of any kind.

No personal cameras are permitted on your skydive due to safety reasons. There are no exceptions. The United States Parachute Association mandates that skydivers have a minimum of 200 jumps prior to taking a camera into freefall.

If you want your skydive filmed, take a look at one of our video packages! We have professional videographers who can film this experience and take some awesome shots for you!

We will provide everything you need for your jump, including jumpsuit, goggles, harness, etc. However, a current photo ID must be presented at the counter during check-in before you will be allowed to jump.

Reservations are strongly suggested in order for us to provide you with first-class service. With a reservation, we will be able to keep in touch with you about weather and anything else pertinent to your appointment. A $50 deposit per person is required in order to book. If you do not show up for your appointment without sufficient notice, your deposit will be forfeited.

Although it is very unlikely that your main parachute will fail to open properly, it can occur and this is a common question. On every jump, we are equipped with a main and a reserve parachute as a back up. In addition, all of our reserve parachutes are equipped with an Automatic Parachute Deployment system (commonly referred to as a Cypres or AAD). This unit will automatically deploy the reserve parachute should the jumpers be unable to.
Don't assume that the weather is going to be bad and that you won't get to jump. Forecasts are generic, and historically have been inaccurate. If you have any weather concerns, please feel free to call us the day of your jump to check on the weather conditions.
Tips are certainly appreciated and welcomed, but never expected. If you feel you've received excellent service, instructors feel appreciated with a gratuity!
