At Jumptown we have adopted the latest method of training recommended by the United States Parachute Association (USPA).
It is called the Integrated Student Program or ISP. The ISP allows students to make multiple tandem jumps while
advancing in skill level and to eventually move to the Accelerated Freefall Program (AFF).
The Tandem Progression usually consists of a minimum of 3 tandem program level jumps. Each successive jump has additional skill
requirements that need to be met before proceeding to the next tandem level.
Once you meet the minimum learning objectives and achieve a comfort level with your jumps, you will attend
an AFF training class (see AFF program description). This class consists of approximately 4 hours of
classroom training followed by practical training the next morning. Your class will start jumping that afternoon, weather permitting.
Tandem Progression students will start the AFF jump program with a Level III jump.
